Rolls-Royce Announces First-Ever Luxury SUV

Rolls-Royce has released their first-ever SUV named The Cullinan, after the Cullinan Diamond discovered in 1905. Rolls-Royce Chief Executive Officer, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, described the new SUV as “perfect and brilliant.” He said, “just like the Cullinan Diamond, it emerges when it is perfect and exists above all others.”

It was three years ago when the luxury car maker announced it would be creating its first SUV. The all-terrain vehicle is the most technologically advanced in the marque’s history. The Cullinan is the second Rolls-Royce to be built using the company’s aluminium “architecture of luxury.” It also features computer-controlled self-leveling air shocks that are used in the Wraith, Ghost and Phantom models. Weighing 5,800 lbs, it is both longer and wider than most off-road luxury SUVs on the market.

In other car news, BMW has debuted a fully electric concept iX3.
