Africa's Shipwreck Lodge Offers the Ultimate Remote Getaway

Natural Selection is allowing visitors to experience one of the most remote and unique travel getaways in Africa with its new Shipwreck Lodge.

Situated on the Namibian coast, the Shipwreck Lodge was manufactured to “resemble the crashed vessels that line the shore.” The space features ten spots for tourists, including eight “twin or double rooms” “two family tents.” Everything is solar-powered, and the Lodge also offers a restaurant, lounge, “game drives” with desert lions and elephants, offroad trips to the Clay Castles and more. Ultimately, the Shipwreck Lodge is geared towards providing isolation and an unforgettable getaway. “Spend the day beach-combing for whale bones and debris from centuries of shipwrecks, or marvel at the geologically-remarkable Clay Castles. Really, there’s nowhere like it on earth,” reads Natural Selection’s official statement.

You can take a look at the Shipwreck Lodge above, and head on over to Natural Selection’s official website for more information.
